New Business Sales Executive Role

As a global, end-to-end human capital solutions company, we are always on the lookout for talented, passionate and hardworking individuals. We are seeking an ambitious and energetic New Business Sales Executive based at our Canary Wharf offices.

About the role:

This is a 100% New Business role and the right candidate will be required to generate organic and warm leads, which they then prospect and convert into maturing business. Target customers will be both Corporate and Recruitment Agencies with a monthly/quarterly sales target to achieve against

Generating leads

Efficiently keeping in regular contact with existing prospects and clients

Presenting to senior decision makers (HRD's, MD's and CEO's)

Understanding and keeping up-to-date with constant developments in all relevant industries

Identifying areas for expansion and development within your base

Developing a targeted long-term new business strategy to also encompass regional and international businesses

Weekly meetings and 1x1's with your line manager

Delivering against set targets and expectations

Working closely with all internal departments

Updating activity and pipeline within our CRM (Salesforce.com)

Maximising networking opportunities and occasionally attending conferences, events and trade shows to increase awareness and develop a further network of contacts

Successful candidates will possess:

A high degree of self-motivation

A passion for selling and relationship building

Confident speaking on the telephone

Good written and verbal communication skills

Strong media/recruitment background

Excellent organisational skills

Excellent technology skills and use of web based applications

Good data analysis skills

An outgoing and likeable personality that fits well within a team atmosphere

Resilience and persistence

Results orientated

Salary and Compensation:

Working at Top Language Jobs, you will receive a competitive basic salary ranging between £25,000-£30,000 basic (depending on experience) with double OTE. Top performers have earnt 6-figures within 1 calendar year. Alongside this brilliant earning potential, you will receive excellent training and development with career paths into more senior roles

Requirements - Essential:

Minimum 2/3 years' experience within Business Development/New Business or Account

Management role (face-to-face experience imperative; experience within the media, recruitment and communications world preferred)

Self-starter who is target driven and motivated

Excellent communication and presentation skills (telephone, written and face-to-face)

Consultative sales skills: requires a balance of soft sell approach and hard sell closure

Excellent time management, an individual who thrives on working autonomously

Experience working in a recruitment/agency/ media environment and understanding of (and passion for) the industry

The ideal candidate will be determined, outgoing, positive, articulate and diplomatic
